Welcome to Shree Tungnath Tours & Travels. By booking any tour, vehicle rental, or travel service with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
Booking & Payment Policy
Advance Payment: A non-refundable deposit of 30% to 50% of the total package/tour cost is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be cleared prior to the departure date or as specified in your booking confirmation voucher (typically before or upon arrival on Day 1).
Helicopter & International Packages: Bookings for Char Dham Helicopter services and international flights/visas require 100% advance payment as per third-party non-refundable vendor policies.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation by the customer, cancellation charges will apply as follows:

Note: Refund amounts (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 working days via the original mode of payment.
Changes & Modifications
By Customer: Requests to modify dates or itineraries after booking are subject to availability and may incur extra costs (e.g., hotel re-booking charges, price differences).
By Company: Shri Tungnath Tour & Travels reserves the right to alter routes, transportation modes, or accommodations in case of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, landslides, extreme weather, road blockages, or political instability.
Vehicle & Transportation Terms
- Vehicles provided (Dzire, Ertiga, Innova Crysta, Tempo Traveller, Bus) are based on the capacity and category agreed upon in the booking voucher.
- Drivers are trained to navigate mountain and highway terrains safely. Drive times and daily mileage limits are governed by road safety regulations.
- Any additional usage, off-route deviations, or extra kilometers requested beyond the agreed itinerary will incur additional per-kilometer/per-hour charges.
- AC will be turned off in stationary vehicles and while driving in steep hill/ghat sections for safety and performance reasons.
Pilgrimage & Trekking Guidelines (Char Dham, Adi Kailash, Treks)
Medical Fitness: High-altitude yatras and mountain trekking require physical fitness. Guests are advised to obtain medical clearance prior to travel.
Government Permits: Passengers are responsible for carrying valid original photo ID proofs (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport) and any mandatory government registrations or medical certificates required for Char Dham or Inner Line Permits (Adi Kailash).
Delays Due to Weather: The Himalayan weather is unpredictable. Any extra expenses incurred due to weather-related delays, landslides, or road closures (e.g., extra nights at hotels, additional meals) must be borne directly by the customer.
International Travel Terms
Passport Validity: Passengers traveling internationally (Dubai, Bali, Vietnam, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, etc.) must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the planned return date.
Visa Approvals: Visa approval or rejection is entirely at the discretion of the respective embassy or immigration authority. Shri Tungnath Tour & Travels is not responsible for visa rejections or delays, and standard cancellation fees will apply.
Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering flight delays, medical emergencies, and luggage loss for all international trips.
Responsibilities & Liability Limits
Shri Tungnath Tour & Travels acts solely as a travel facilitator connecting guests with third-party service providers (hotels, airlines, local transport, helicopter operators).
We are not liable for any personal injury, loss of baggage, accident, theft, flight/train cancellation, or financial loss caused by force majeure events or third-party service failures.
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the journey.
Jurisdiction & Disputes
Any legal disputes or claims arising out of our services shall be subject strictly to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, India.
